These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of SmileTap. By submitting payment, signing an order form, or using SmileTap services, you agree to these Terms. This page is provided for informational purposes and is not legal advice.
1) Service Overview
SmileTap provides a branded, mobile-friendly profile accessible via QR code, with configurable links (e.g., Google & Yelp reviews, website, booking, forms, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). Plans are billed annually and may include QR card artwork and print quantities as described on the pricing page.
2) Deliverables & Scope
- Initial setup of your SmileTap profile (logo, colors, links, optional custom HTML).
- QR code artwork file(s) and print quantities as listed in your selected plan.
- Edits/updates included per plan (see plan details). Additional work beyond plan scope may be quoted separately.
3) Billing & Renewal (Annual Only)
- Plans are billed annually in advance. No monthly plans are offered.
- Your plan may auto-renew each year unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. You’ll receive reminders to the practice email on file.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend access (including analytics) until payment is resolved.
4) Satisfaction Edits & Refunds
- All sales are final. We do not offer refunds once setup or design work has begun or access has been provisioned.
- Not satisfied? We will edit your SmileTap profile at no extra cost within the scope of your plan until it aligns with what you want. (For Basic/Pro, edits are limited by the plan’s update cadence; Premium includes unlimited edits within reasonable use.)
5) Acceptable Use & Review Platform Compliance
- You agree to use SmileTap in compliance with applicable laws and the terms of the platforms you link to (e.g., Google, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Do not solicit reviews in a manner that violates those platforms’ policies (e.g., offering incentives, gating, or review filtering).
- You’re responsible for the accuracy and legality of all content and links you provide.
6) Content & Ownership
- You retain ownership of your logos, brand assets, and copy you supply. You grant SmileTap a non-exclusive license to use those assets to provide the service.
- SmileTap retains ownership of its software, templates, and system designs.
7) Data & Privacy
- SmileTap collects basic analytics (e.g., page views and button clicks) to provide reporting. We do not sell your data.
- Do not submit Protected Health Information (PHI) through SmileTap. SmileTap is not a medical records system and is not intended to store PHI.
8) Availability & Changes
- We aim for high availability, but occasional maintenance, provider outages, or changes to third-party platforms may affect features or uptime.
- We may update features, pricing, or these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
9) Disclaimers
SmileTap is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee any specific business outcomes (e.g., a specific number of reviews or followers).
10) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmileTap’s total liability for any claims arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount paid by you to SmileTap for the applicable one-year term. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
11) Termination
You may cancel before renewal to avoid being charged for the next term. We may suspend or terminate service for violation of these Terms or unlawful use. No refunds are issued for early termination.

13) Acceptance
By submitting payment or using the service, you confirm that you’ve read and agree to these Terms. If purchasing via a hosted order form (e.g., Jotform + Stripe), that submission constitutes acceptance.
